Quickstart

Bassethound is a remote MCP server for company intelligence. Point a client at the endpoint, give it a domain, and get a source-linked dossier back.

Bassethound is a remote MCP server. There is nothing to install or host: you point your AI client at one hosted endpoint, hand it a domain, and it returns a correlated, source-linked dossier on that company.

The endpoint

https://mcp.bassethound.ai/mcp

It is a streamable HTTP MCP server. No API key for the free tier.

Fastest path: Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http bassethound https://mcp.bassethound.ai/mcp

Then, in any conversation:

sniff stripe.com

Bassethound runs sniff_domain and hands back a five-layer dossier.

Other clients

Codex, Cursor, Windsurf, VS Code, and any other MCP client each take a one-line command or a small config block. See Install to pick yours.

Prefer a UI? Add it as a custom connector in Claude or ChatGPT.

What you get

One call returns five correlated layers, tech stack, infrastructure, firmographics, AI-readiness, and security, plus an evidenced read on how AI-forward the company is. See the sniff_domain reference.

Want to see it first? Run a sniff in the playground.

Sniff a domain.

Run sniff_domain on any site and read its five-layer dossier in one call.
